Aidan Doyle was born in the city of San Francisco, and raised just two blocks from the bustling Mission District, famous for it's ethnic foods and diverse population. He found himself unbeknowingly immersed in different cultures and cuisines at a young age. His passion for food began when he started cooking the family dinners at the age of nine for his family. His mother would leave directions and Aidan would Roast Chickens with different flavor profiles, Broil Lamb Chops, Cook London Broils, and make vegetable sides. Aidan also spent weekends barbecue grilling with his Dad.
While attending City and State Colleges for Film and Music Business, he did as most students do and had his fair share of Top Ramen and Kraft Mac n' Cheese. But he would spend weekends inviting over friends and putting together exciting meals one could hardly afford. Though his initial career pursuits were for the entertainment industry, he often found himself in different kitchens working to pay for rent and school. Even after his move to Los Angeles to further pursue a career in film, he constantly found himself back in kitchens. Whether it was because he was in between gigs, needed a boost paying rent, or even just needed to get a break from Hollywood, it would provide the soulful balance he needed. It was during this time in Los Angeles that Aidan quickly realized that he was and always had beenextremely passionate about food... and perhaps, it was not just a job and a means to pay bills, but a true passion to pursue. He soon started his own catering business and started catering different events.
About 8 years ago Aidan learned that his brother Gene and his wife were due for their first child to be born here in Santa Fe. Aidan's Aunt, Uncle, and Niece also lived here in Santa Fe, and in need of change and family, he decided to leave the big cities he had grown accustomed to, for a smaller, yet equally wondrous town... In Santa Fe Aidan worked in some kitchens until he landed a job as the Chef at the Ski Santa Fe Basin. After that he worked most notably at Restaurant Martîn's under Chef Martîn Rios, nominated several times as one of the Best Chefs in the Southwest by James Beard. He most recently worked at Horno Restaurant under chef David Sellers which was nominated Best New Restaurant in the Santa Fe Reporter 2022. He discovered though that what he really appreciated more than anything was the creativity and love that goes into composing original dishes as a private chef.
Aidan currently resides in Santa Fe amongst family, with his longtime girlfriend Heather, their three cats: Remy, Noodles, and Sassafras Fluffer Nutter, and their two chickens: Vanilla and
Butter Brickle.
